Chinaman's Hat Click on the images below to see an enlargementAfter a moderately rough 9 hour journey from our starting point in San Cristobal, we anchored off this barren-looking island. (Venturing to the bathroom in the dark of night from the wildly rolling top bunk was an adventure all by itself.) It was a greyish morning (as happened to us on most days), but the clouds were gradually burned off by the sun. We got up at 6.30 for breakfast at 7am and our first excursion of the day. With the greyish skies, the snorkelling was cooler and less vivid, but still most interesting. Ashore we found a good selection of wildlife. After this excursion and lunch we headed to Batholomé Island and anchored for a sunny afternoon's excursion.
